Who I Am

About Me

Hi, Friends! My name is Sara, the creator of Goodness and Graces and I cannot wait to start our journey together. Before we do that, however, I would love to tell you a little about myself. I am the wife of Shrishail Nashi, the mother of three wonderful children, and a physician by occupation that specializes in pain management.

So, I bet you’re wondering, why would a physician have any interest in blogging? Well it just so happens that I have a strong passion for women. That may sound strange, but as I started my journey as a “working” woman, I was stuck in a place of self-comparison, feeling overwhelmed and lonely. Trying to juggle being the perfect wife, mother, and build a successful practice. I was exhausted and alone. I struggled to find balance and found myself drowning with responsibilities. I think most women experience these challenges at some point in their lives which can lead us to feeling defeated and depressed.

They can leave us feeling as though we are not enough or that we have missed the mark. Well I am here to tell you that you are not alone, and you are enough! Each of us is unique, widely capable, and fiercely loved by our Lord. It has been through my greatest struggles that I grew the most. I believe that as women, we need to stick together and give each other permission to be real. Dear friends, it is through sharing our struggles, experiences, and successes that this can be a place for us all to grow.

Wherever you are in your journey, this blog is intended to inspire and motivate us all to be our best selves. The fact is, there are not enough hours in a day to get everything done that maybe on our check list. Once I realized this, I began to pray for God to show me what was important to him. In 2 Peter 1:3, it says “His divine power has given us everything required for life and godliness through the knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.” Through these verses, the Lord began to help guide my steps and I begin to find peace.

Join Our Journey

If you are new to my blog, I’m so happy you have decided to join me on this journey. My prayer is you will soon see that this is a safe place for women to share their hearts. I’m excited to navigate through what it is like to be a working woman in our world, learning and succeeding as we go. This is a place we can walk together and cheer each other on. We are more than conquerors! I look forward to growing with you.
